Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis was endorsed for a fourth term in Congress by the Police Conference of New York (PCNY).

The PCNY, which was founded over a century ago, is the largest police organization in New York representing over 50,000 active and retired law enforcement officers across the Empire State.

In the PCNY’s letter of endorsement President Michael O’Meara wrote, “I am pleased you inform you that you have received the endorsement of the Police Conference of New York your upcoming election for the 11th Congressional District.

“The PCNY, formed in 1925, is a statewide labor union today comprising hundreds of police unions and groups representing more than 50,000 professional police officers, and the largest police organization in the state. Our representation stretches across the entire state, from the tip of Montauk Point to the Canadian Border. PCNY membership is comprised of local, county, city, and state police, along with groups as diverse as the MTA Police and the Port Authority Police.”

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis said, “I want to express my thanks to the membership and leadership of the Police Conference of New York for their kind endorsement.

“They know, as my constituents know, that during my career in the state legislature and now in the U.S. Congress, I have always stood shoulder-to-shoulder with law enforcement. I will always be a vocal advocate for the funding, training and resources they need to do their job. In addition, I will continue my mission to ensure that 9/11 first responders and survivors have the coverage and care they need and deserve from the World Trade Center Health Center.”
