Help me stop liberal Albany politicians from wasting $100 million of our money. Fill out the form to send Gov. Cuomo this letter.
Dear Governor Cuomo,
I am writing to ask that you call the State Legislature into special session by December 22nd to reject the use of taxpayer money to fund political campaigns for state office.”
As established by the New York State Public Campaign Financing Commission, spending up to $12 in taxpayer money for each $1 contributed to political campaigns will divert up to $100 million each election cycle away from public education, infrastructure investments and important priorities.
With a projected $6 billion budget deficit and the Speaker of the State Assembly calling for new tax increases, New Yorkers deserve better than to have their hard-earned money wasted on another liberal boondoggle.
By law, the State Legislature has until December 22nd to reject the Commission’s recommendations before they become law. Now is the time to act. New Yorkers have had enough.
Sincerely,
Your Name
