Whether you choose to vote in-person or vote by Absentee ballot, this year is one of the most important elections in our lifetime.

Over the last few weeks, you may have received an Absentee ballot application from the NYC Board of Elections in the mail. This is because Governor Cuomo signed an executive order allowing all registered, eligible voters to apply to vote by Absentee ballot for the June 23rd primary election due to COVID-19.

Though you may have received an application, you can still choose to vote in-person.

FIND YOUR POLL SITE
If you decide to vote by Absentee ballot in the primary, your Absentee ballot application must be postmarked by June 16th. Once you apply to vote by Absentee, the Board of Elections will mail you your Absentee ballot. After you receive your Absentee ballot, your completed ballot must be postmarked by June 22nd and must reach the Board of Elections no more than 7 days after the election to be counted.
