Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) was officially sworn in on Sunday evening to represent Staten Island and Southwestern Brooklyn in the United States Congress.
“I’m excited and ready to work for the people of New York’s 11th Congressional District by fighting to accelerate vaccine distribution, open our economy and make our community safer,” said Congresswoman Malliotakis. “Sixty years ago, my parents took a great chance and came to this country in search of greater opportunity. They worked hard, sacrificed so much, and today they were able to watch their daughter become a Member of Congress. That’s the American Dream and opportunity I will work to preserve for future generations.”
