Absentee Voting (Vote by Mail)

Governor Cuomo signed an executive order allowing all registered, eligible voters to apply to vote by Absentee ballot in the 2020 Election due to COVID-19. However, you can still choose to vote in-person on Election Day or during the early voting period from Saturday, October 24th to Sunday, November 1st.

If you decide to vote by Absentee ballot, your Absentee ballot application must be postmarked by October 27th. Once you apply to vote by Absentee, the Board of Elections will mail you your Absentee ballot. After you receive your Absentee ballot, your completed ballot must be postmarked by November 3rd and must reach the Board of Elections no more than 7 days after the election to be counted.
