Save Our Restaurants
More than 100,000 restaurants have closed during the COVID-19 pandemic and 2.1 million restaurant workers have lost their livelihood.
To Save Our Restaurants, our City and State governments must remove the arbitrary restrictions preventing restaurants from operating, even with appropriate public health safeguards.
In addition, Congress must adopt the Restaurants Act—providing a $120 billion fund administered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury for grants to independent restaurants and taverns to cover the cost of payroll, rent, supplies, personal protective equipment and debt incurred during the pandemic.
We need a comprehensive approach to Save Our Restaurants. Sign the petition to support reopening our local restaurants and taverns and giving them the support they need by enacting the Restaurants Act.
