Where did the Thrive NYC money for mental health go? Why isn’t the DOJ investigating this? Why do Democrats keep talking about public safety and mental health then eliminate hospital beds, release criminals & make it harder for cops to do their job?

The program, which was created under former Mayor Bill de Blasio and overseen by former First Lady Chirlane McCray, has been criticized for presenting limited information about its impact and failing to provide justification for its high costs.

“No one can seem to get an answer,” Malliotakis told the Post. “I think it’s appropriate that the IG takes a look at the spending, audit the ThriveNYC program, and finally make it public on how this money was utilized.”
