COVID-19 Information Federal and State Income Tax Returns Will be Postponed 3 Months

The deadline for filing of FEDERAL of income tax returns will be postponed 3 months from April 15 to July 15 because of the coronavirus outbreak, feds announced.

New York State will also move the State’s tax deadline from April 15 to July 15 to follow suit with the Federal government. This is something Assemblymember Nicole Malliotakis was advocating for.
