The incumbent congressman, Max Rose, recently voted with Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and others for H.R.1, a measure that would use taxpayer money to fund their campaigns and allow automatic voter registration which has already led to non-citizens “accidentally” being registered in some states.
Additionally, two amendments were presented on the floor:
(1) Rose voted and spoke AGAINST an amendment that condemned municipalities that allow illegal immigrants to vote.
(2) Rose voted FOR an amendment that would lower the voting age from 18 to 16 years old.
